The Arab Institute for Industrial and Mining Training and Consultancy, affiliated with the Arab Organization for Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining, concluded the training course entitled “Agile Transformation through Artificial Intelligence,” which was held remotely from 3 to 6 February 2026.

The course aimed to introduce participants to Agile Transformation methodologies and the application of artificial intelligence technologies to enhance flexibility and efficiency in administrative and industrial processes. It sought to improve organizational performance, accelerate decision-making, and maximize the use of data in modern work environments.

The course witnessed strong engagement from trainees representing various industrial and mining institutions. It featured practical workshops and discussion sessions addressing best practices and real-world challenges, and concluded with the awarding of certificates of participation to the trainees.

The Arab Institute for Industrial and Mining Training and Consultancy, affiliated with the Arab Organization for Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining, held a remote training course from 3–6 February 2026 entitled: “Hydrogen Storage in Materials: Analysis Using Density Functional Theory and Artificial Intelligence.”

The course aimed to provide a comprehensive scientific and practical framework on hydrogen storage in materials as one of the fundamental pillars of clean and sustainable energy systems. It combined the theoretical foundations of materials science with advanced computational modeling, highlighting the pivotal role of Density Functional Theory (DFT) and artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) techniques in accelerating discovery processes and predicting material properties.

The course addressed several key topics, including an introduction to hydrogen technologies and the principles of hydrogen storage in clean energy systems; the fundamentals of Density Functional Theory and its applications in materials science; atomic and electronic modeling of hydrogen storage materials; the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in predicting material properties; and the integration of DFT results with AI techniques to discover promising new materials.

The Arab Institute for Industrial and Mining Training and Consultancy, affiliated with the Arab Organization for Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining (AIDSMO), held a training course in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt, from 22–25 October 2024 entitled “Ore Evaluation and Mine Planning Using Surpac Software.” The course was attended by a number of experts from various Arab countries.

Participants were introduced to the technical skills required to use Surpac efficiently and effectively, and carried out practical applications using real mineral ore data, which enhanced both their theoretical knowledge and practical expertise.

They also explored international best practices in ore evaluation, contributing to raising the quality standards of local mining projects.

At the conclusion of the course, participants were awarded certificates of participation.

The Arab Institute for Industrial and Mining Training and Consultancy, affiliated with the Arab Organization for Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining, concluded two specialized training courses entitled “Design and Analysis of Industrial Systems” and “Quality Management – Interpretation of ISO 9001:2015 Requirements”, held from 11 to 13 December 2024.

The Design and Analysis of Industrial Systems course aimed to equip participants with a solid understanding of the scientific foundations of industrial systems design, as well as methodologies for performance analysis and operational efficiency improvement, with a focus on modeling tools and continuous development techniques.

Meanwhile, the Quality Management – Interpretation of ISO 9001:2015 Requirements course focused on explaining the clauses of the international standard and the mechanisms for its implementation within organizations. The course sought to strengthen quality management systems, enhance processes, ensure customer satisfaction, and elevate institutional performance in line with international best practices.

Both courses witnessed the participation of a distinguished group of specialists and professionals from the industrial sector. The program included interactive presentations and practical exercises that reinforced participants’ practical understanding of the training content, and concluded with the awarding of certificates of participation to the trainees.

On Thursday, 24 April 2025, the Arab Institute for Industrial and Mining Training and Consultancy, affiliated with AIDSMO, concluded the activities of its training program, which focused on two courses: Full Stack Development – Back-end and the Integrated Program in Cybersecurity. The program aimed to develop technical skills in web development and application security, with the participation of a distinguished group of students from the French institution ESTIAM.

Over the course of two weeks, the two programs covered several key topics, combining both theoretical and practical components using professional tools. This enabled participants to simulate real-world scenarios involving vulnerability exploitation and application security, in addition to undertaking a comprehensive assessment test that allowed them to measure their understanding of the concepts covered. The courses were marked by strong engagement and clear commitment from the trainees throughout the training period.

As part of the program’s activities, the participants visited GITEX Africa 2025 in Marrakech, organized under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him. The exhibition showcased the latest developments in telecommunications, cloud computing, and data centers, with a strong focus on artificial intelligence technologies and cybersecurity applications.

They also took part in the “Green Hackathon” organized by the Higher School of Economic and Commercial Studies (HEEC Marrakech) in partnership with SMART LAB and JCI Morocco. The hackathon, an intensive digital competition, provided a platform for students to develop software solutions and websites addressing environmental issues using modern technologies. Student teams competed to present innovative and practical digital environmental project concepts.

The activities of the “Scientific Forum on the Use of Artificial Intelligence Applications to Improve Administrative Performance” were launched in Milan, Italy, from 26 to 29 August 2025. The forum was organized by the Arab Institute for Industrial and Mining Training and Consultancy, affiliated with the Arab Organization for Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining, with the participation of a distinguished group of Arab and international experts in the fields of management and artificial intelligence.

The forum aims to review the latest developments in leveraging AI technologies to enhance administrative performance and decision-making within institutions, and to discuss practical applications that contribute to improving efficiency, boosting productivity, and achieving comprehensive digital transformation in modern work environments.

The forum also featured panel discussions and practical workshops, providing participants with opportunities to exchange expertise and explore the challenges and opportunities associated with integrating AI solutions across various administrative sectors.
