The Arab Institute for Industrial and Mining Training and Consulting, affiliated with the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization, and Mining Organization (AIDSMO), held a specialized training program on "Strategic Planning for Governmental Institutions and Entities" for the staff of the Public Authority for Industry in the State of Kuwait, from December 7-11, 2025.
The program focused on empowering participants to understand modern strategic planning methodologies and tools, enhancing their ability to formulate clear institutional visions, set long-term goals, and link them to measurable performance indicators. This is aimed at improving institutional performance and aligning with national objectives.
Over the course of the 5-day program, key topics were discussed, including the fundamentals of strategic planning and its necessity for government institutions, internal and external environment analysis using planning tools, the formulation of vision, mission, and institutional values, setting strategic goals, and designing initiatives, as well as mechanisms for implementing and monitoring the strategic plan.
