A meeting was held between the Syrian Standards Authority and the training officer to discuss the formation of an Arab team concerned with training.

A virtual meeting was held on Monday, September 9, 2024, between representatives of the Arab Institute for Industrial and Mining Training and Consulting (AIMI), affiliated with IDESMO, and Eng. Tharaa Qubaili, Technical Director and Head of Technical Training at the Syrian Arab Standards and Metrology Organization. The meeting aimed to discuss the implementation mechanism of the General Assembly resolution of the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization (AIDMO) concerning the formation of an Arab team dedicated to training and development.
