Conclusion of the Specialized Training Workshop on: Quality and Accreditation Requirements

line with efforts to enhance industrial efficiency and quality infrastructure, the Federation of Palestinian Industries – Innovation and Industrial Modernization Center (IMC), in collaboration with the Arab Institute for Industrial Training and Consulting (AIMTCI)—affiliated with the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization (AIDSMO)—and in partnership with the National Technical and Vocational Education and Training Commission (NTC) and specialized industrial federations, organized a specialized training workshop titled "Quality and Accreditation Requirements" on Thursday, October 1, 2026. The workshop convened factory owners, executive managers, technical personnel, and specialists in quality, production, and operations from across Palestine. The sessions highlighted core standards and modern specifications for quality management and accreditation systems, focusing on practical implementation strategies to elevate national product quality and strengthen competitiveness in local and international markets.

The Arab Industrial and Mining Training and Consultancies Institute (AIMTCI), affiliated with the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization (AIDSMO), concluded on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, the activities of the specialized training workshop titled: "Transition Towards Green Economy and Enhancing Industrial Competitiveness", in collaboration with the Palestinian Federation of Industries – Innovation and Industrial Modernization Center, the National Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NTC), and the Specialized Industrial Federations (IMC) in the State of Palestine. This event aimed to enhance the readiness of Palestinian industrial enterprises to adopt sustainable practices and technologies, and shed light on vital areas such as energy and resource efficiency, cleaner production, circular economy, and sustainable resource management, in addition to identifying mechanisms to reduce production costs and improve operational efficiency, which contributes to raising the competitiveness of industrial facilities in local and regional markets.

Conclusion of the Activities of the Specialized Training Workshop on: Risk Management and Business Continuity in Industrial Enterprises

In collaboration with the Arab Institute for Industrial Training and Consulting (AIMTCI)—affiliated with the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization (AIDSMO)—and in partnership with the National Technical and Vocational Education and Training Commission (NTC) and specialized industrial federations, the Federation of Palestinian Industries – Innovation and Industrial Modernization Center (IMC) held a specialized training workshop titled "Risk Management and Business Continuity in Industrial Enterprises" on Thursday, September 29, 2026. The workshop brought together facility owners, executive and technical directors, as well as production, quality, and energy managers across the State of Palestine. The sessions addressed strategies to support and develop the capabilities of the Palestinian industrial sector, enhancing the readiness of national enterprises to mitigate operational risks and challenges. This aims to ensure business continuity and elevate competitive efficiency in alignment with market demands and global industrial best practices.

Conclusion of the Specialized Training Course on Data Analytics for Industry

The Arab Industrial and Mining Training and Consultancies Institute (AIMTCI), affiliated with the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization (AIDSMO), held a specialized training course titled "Data Analytics for Industry" from September 22 to 25, 2026, via remote communication technology. The course aimed to develop data analytics skills and their direct application in industrial enterprises, and to employ predictive analytics tools in real production environments; thereby contributing to enhancing operational efficiency and productivity, reducing waste, and improving the capability to leverage data for making informed industrial and strategic decisions. The course topics focused on predictive analytics and fault prediction tools, prescriptive analytics for performance improvement, in addition to artificial intelligence and machine learning applications, as well as process modeling and digital twin integration. The course also reviewed applied practices and the stages of data processing and analysis in the industrial sector, supported by case studies and real-world practical examples. The event witnessed an exchange of expertise and experiences among participants regarding methods to raise production efficiency in industrial facilities, reduce operational costs, and achieve process integration, which contributes to the qualification and development of human resources to keep pace with the requirements of digital transformation.

Conclusion of the Specialized Training Program on AI Ethics: From Fundamentals to Applications

The Arab Industrial and Mining Training and Consultancies Institute (AIMTCI), affiliated with the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization (AIDSMO), held on Thursday, September 24, 2026, a specialized training program titled: "AI Ethics: From Fundamentals to Applications", via remote communication technology. This program comes within the framework of the Institute's efforts aimed at raising awareness of the responsible and safe use of emerging technologies in the industrial sector, and ensuring the deployment of technological innovations in alignment with professional and human standards. The program aimed to enable participants to understand the ethical and regulatory principles associated with artificial intelligence applications, and to highlight core principles such as transparency, accountability, data privacy protection, and algorithmic fairness, in addition to identifying mechanisms for dealing with technical challenges and biases that may accompany the use of these advanced systems. The session witnessed scientific and practical discussions on ways to integrate artificial intelligence ethics into the strategies of industrial and mining institutions in accordance with international best practices, thereby promoting responsible innovation, building trust, and achieving sustainable development.

Conclusion of the Activities of the "Forum on Innovation and Food Systems", June 28–29, 2026, in the Republic of Türkiye

The Arab Institute for Industrial and Mining Training and Consultancy (AIMTCI), affiliated with the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization (AIDSMO), concluded its participation in the activities of the "Forum on Innovation and Food Systems," held from July 28 to 29, 2026. On the sidelines of the forum, organized by the United Cities and Local Governments Middle East and West Asia Regional Section (UCLG-MEWA), the program included field visits to the centers of the Selçuklu Municipality in the city of Konya, Republic of Türkiye, to conduct benchmarking and explore prospects for joint cooperation. The program also featured press meetings and business-to-business (B2B) working sessions, during which the Institute provided comprehensive answers and clarifications regarding its presentation, alongside enhancing networking with participating mayors to discuss and establish promising future projects.
