Tharaa Qubaili, Technical Director and Head of Technical Training at the Syrian Arab Standards and Metrology Organization. The meeting aimed to discuss the implementation mechanism of the General Assembly resolution of the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization (AIDMO) concerning the formation of an Arab team dedicated to training and development.

A virtual meeting was held on Friday, September 6, 2024, between representatives of the Arab Institute for Industrial and Mining Training and Consulting (part of #EDSMO) and Professor Heba Hammad, Director of the Standards Department at the Egyptian Organization for Standardization and Quality Control. A meeting was held on Thursday, September 5, 2024, bringing together representatives of the Arab Institute for Industrial and Mining Training and Consulting (part of #EDESMO), Dr. Najat Al-Maghrawi, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Family Organization, Dr. Jamila Mrabet, a specialist in energy, environment, and development, and Ms. Fatiha Ndiaye, President of the African Network in Senegal, to discuss ways of cooperation in areas of common interest.

The training course on using artificial intelligence applications to improve administrative performance concluded on the specified day during the period (March 5-8, 2024), which was held by the Institute of Industrial Training and Consulting of the Arab Organization for Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining at the organization’s headquarters, with the participation of trainees from inside and outside the host country.

The training course on compliance management systems based on the ISO 37301:2021 international standard concluded today, Thursday, November 30, 2023, at the headquarters of the Association of Arab Universities in Amman, Jordan. The course, organized by the Industrial Training and Consulting Institute (ITCI), affiliated with the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization, ran from November 27-30, 2023. The course aimed to familiarize participants with the ISO 37301 standard for effective compliance management systems, based on the principles of good governance, proportionality, transparency, and sustainability. This standard describes the key components and processes of an effective compliance management system.

The Association of Arab Universities concluded two training courses at its headquarters in Amman, Jordan. The first course, on "Creativity and Institutional Innovation in Government Administration," and the second, on "Environmental Measures and Solutions to Reduce Carbon Emissions in Industry," were organized by the Industrial Training and Consulting Institute (ITCI), affiliated with the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization, from May 21-24, 2023. The first training course, on "Creativity and Institutional Innovation in Government Administration," aimed to enhance the concepts of creativity and innovation within public sector institutions, provide practical application points through group work, develop trainees' ability to improve and develop services, and introduce them to success stories from various countries.
