Closing of the training course on “Artificial Intelligence and Smart Transformation in the Industrial and Mining Sectors.”
The Arab Institute for Industrial and Mining Training and Consultancy, affiliated with the Arab Organization for Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining, organized a training course from 4–14 August 2025 entitled: “Artificial Intelligence and Smart Transformation in the Industrial and Mining Sectors.” The course witnessed broad participation from entities related to the Organization’s fields of work across 13 Arab countries. These included: the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Syrian Arab Republic, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the Republic of Iraq, the State of Palestine, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the Lebanese Republic, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Kingdom of Morocco, and the Republic of Yemen. Over the course of seven days, the program addressed a range of key topics and themes, including: artificial intelligence and its transformative revolution; the benefits and challenges of AI; AI applications in production sectors; AI applications in service sectors; smart transformation for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs); simple and free AI tools for small enterprises (Part I); simple and free AI tools for small enterprises (Part II); and a future roadmap outlining the final outcomes and the proposed implementation plan.

Meeting of institute representatives with an expert specializing in artificial intelligence and information technology
A meeting was held today, Thursday, July 10, 2025, between representatives of the Arab Institute for Industrial and Mining Training and Consulting, affiliated with IDESMO, and the expert in artificial intelligence and information technology, Engineer Omar Asbitan, to prepare and discuss arrangements for the training course "Artificial Intelligence and Smart Transformation in Industrial Sectors".

A meeting between IDESMO and the Morocco Development Foundation to discuss prospects for joint cooperation
Part of the meeting held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, which brought together Engineer Tawfiq Al-Rubaie, Assistant Director General of the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization, with Ms. Rachida Maliki, Director General of the first model factory in Africa and the Middle East, “Inmaa Al-Maghrib,” which was inaugurated by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, King of the Kingdom of Morocco, may God protect him, and Mr. Abdel Aziz Abu Al-Qasim, the consultant expert at the same institution.

Closing of the training program on “Developing Technical Skills in Web Technologies and Application Security.”
On Thursday, 24 April 2025, the Arab Institute for Industrial and Mining Training and Consultancy, affiliated with AIDSMO, concluded the activities of its training program, which focused on two courses: Full Stack Development – Back-end and the Integrated Program in Cybersecurity. The program aimed to develop technical skills in web development and application security, with the participation of a distinguished group of students from the French institution ESTIAM. Over the course of two weeks, the two programs covered several key topics, combining both theoretical and practical components using professional tools. This enabled participants to simulate real-world scenarios involving vulnerability exploitation and application security, in addition to undertaking a comprehensive assessment test that allowed them to measure their understanding of the concepts covered. The courses were marked by strong engagement and clear commitment from the trainees throughout the training period. As part of the program’s activities, the participants visited GITEX Africa 2025 in Marrakech, organized under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him. The exhibition showcased the latest developments in telecommunications, cloud computing, and data centers, with a strong focus on artificial intelligence technologies and cybersecurity applications. They also took part in the “Green Hackathon” organized by the Higher School of Economic and Commercial Studies (HEEC Marrakech) in partnership with SMART LAB and JCI Morocco. The hackathon, an intensive digital competition, provided a platform for students to develop software solutions and websites addressing environmental issues using modern technologies. Student teams competed to present innovative and practical digital environmental project concepts.
